It shows the content of the protocol used and explains why this particular protocol of pelvic floor muscle exercises and urge suppression techniques was chosen for men in the intervention group. The trial will evaluate whether this intervention will be effective for men with urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction after prostate surgery.Item Methods for specifying the target difference in a randomised controlled trial : the Difference ELicitation in TriAls (DELTA) systematic review(2014-05-13) Hislop, Jenni; Adewuyi, Temitope E; Vale, Luke D; Harrild, Kirsten; Fraser, Cynthia; Gurung, Tara; Altman, Douglas G; Briggs, Andrew H; Fayers, Peter; Ramsay, Craig R; Norrie, John D; Harvey, Ian M; Buckley, Brian; Cook, Jonathan A; DELTA group; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Institute of Applied Health SciencesItem A pragmatic multicentre randomised controlled trial comparing stapled haemorrhoidopexy with traditional excisional surgery for haemorrhoidal disease : the eTHoS study(2017-12-31) Watson, Angus Jm; Cook, Jonathan; Hudson, Jemma; Kilonzo, Mary; Wood, Jessica; Bruhn, Hanne; Brown, Steven; Buckley, Brian; Curran, Finlay; Jayne, David; Loudon, Malcolm; Rajagopal, Ramesh; McDonald, Alison; Norrie, John; University of Aberdeen.Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation; University of Aberdeen.Health Economics Research Unit; University of Aberdeen.Institute of Applied Health SciencesItem A pragmatic, multicentre, randomised controlled trial comparing stapled haemorrhoidopexy to traditional excisional surgery for haemorrhoidal disease (eTHoS) : study protocol for a randomised controlled trial(2014-11-11) Watson, Angus J M; Bruhn, Hanne; MacLeod, Kathleen; McDonald, Alison; McPherson, Gladys; Kilonzo, Mary; Norrie, John; Loudon, Malcolm A; McCormack, Kirsty; Buckley, Brian; Brown, Steven; Curran, Finlay; Jayne, David; Rajagopal, Ramesh; Cook, Jonathan A; University of Aberdeen.Health Economics Research Unit; University of Aberdeen.Institute of Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health SciencesItem Specifying the target difference in the primary outcome for a randomised controlled trial : guidance for researchers(2015-01-15) Cook, Jonathan A.; Hislop, Jenni; Altman, Douglas G.; Fayers, Peter; Briggs, Andrew H.; Ramsay, Craig R.; Norrie, John D.; Harvey, Ian M.; Buckley, Brian; Fergusson, Dean; Ford, Ian; Vale, Luke D.; DELTA group; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation; University of Aberdeen.Institute of Applied Health SciencesItem Urinary incontinence in men after formal one-to-one pelvic-floor muscle training following radical prostatectomy or transurethral resection of the prostate (MAPS) : two parallel randomised controlled trials(2011-07-23) Glazener, Cathryn; Boachie, Charles; Buckley, Brian; Cochran, Claire; Dorey, Grace; Grant, Adrian; Hagen, Suzanne; Kilonzo, Mary; McDonald, Alison; McPherson, Gladys; Moore, Katherine; Norrie, John; Ramsay, Craig; Vale, Luke; N'Dow, James; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation; University of Aberdeen.Applied Medicine; University of Aberdeen.Health Economics Research Unit; University of Aberdeen.Academic Urology Unit; University of Aberdeen.Institute of Applied Health Sciences
