This interpretation may find them assimilating change as they listen to accounts from other workers experienced in the outcomes of such events. On the other hand, there may be a divergence among workers concerning the value and meaning to be ascribed to the change events. If this is the case, a culture of ambiguity may be said to exist, where the nature, degree and value of the cultural change are highly contested and remarkably unclear (McLoughlin et al;., 2005). Following Piderit (2000), this paper suggests this may explain the disparity between an individual’s expectancy of change and their response to it, and also that, individuals’ ambivalence may influence whether they accept change, adapt to it, or reject it out-of-hand, . We show how different dimensions of ambivalence in different individuals can lead not only to different responses to imposed change at work, but can also account for individuals coming to terms with the demands of change.Item Anything but engaged : user involvement in the context of a national electronic health record implementation(2011-07-01) Cresswell, Kathrin; Morrison, Zoe; Crowe, Sarah; Robertson, Ann; Sheikh, Aziz; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem An Approach to Discovering Product/Service Improvement Priorities : Using Dynamic Importance-Performance Analysis(2018-10-05) Wu, Jiacong; Wang, Yu; Zhang, Ru; Cai, Jing; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Approaches to recording drug allergies in electronic health records : qualitative study(2014-04-16) Fernando, Bernard; Morrison, Zoe; Kalra, Dipak; Cresswell, Kathrin; Sheikh, Aziz; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Archival practices and the making of ‘memories’(2015) Mauthner, Natasha S.; Gardos, Judit; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Are research data a common resource?(2012) Mauthner, Natasha; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Assessment of Patient Safety Culture in an Adult Oncology Department in Saudi Arabia(2018-05) Alharbi, Waleed; Cleland, Jennifer; Morrison, Zoe; University of Aberdeen.Centre for Healthcare Education and Research Innovation (CHERI); University of Aberdeen.Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition; University of Aberdeen.Medical Education; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Beyond metrics? : Utilizing 'soft intelligence' for healthcare quality and safety(2015-10) Martin, Graham P; McKee, Lorna; Dixon-Woods, Mary; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Business Management; University of Aberdeen.Aberdeen Centre for EvaluationItem Biotechnological developments, socio-technical processes and materiality : the affordances and constraints of ‘social innovation'(2012-06) Dawson, Patrick Mark; Daniel, Lisa; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Clinical encounter and the logic of relationality : Reconfiguring bodies and subjectivities in clinical relations(2018-03-01) Kazimierczak, Karolina A.; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Conformist innovation : an institutional logics perspective on how HR executives construct business school reputations(2018-12) Martin, Graeme; Siebert, Sabina; Robson, Ian; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Culture and behaviour in the English National Health Service : overview of lessons from a large multimethod study(2014-02) Dixon-Woods, Mary; Baker, Richard; Charles, Kathryn; Dawson, Jeremy; Jerzembek, Gabi; Martin, Graham; McCarthy, Imelda; McKee, Lorna; Minion, Joel; Ozieranski, Piotr; Willars, Janet; Wilkie, Patricia; West, Michael; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Data as Infrastructure(National Infrastructure Commission, 2017-12-14) Kawalek, Peter; Bayat, Ali; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Data Envelopment Analysis Models of Investment Funds(University of Aberdeen: Business School, 2010) Lamb, John Douglas; Tee, Kai-Hong; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Divergence or convergence? : Health inequalities and policy in a devolved Britain(2009-05) Smith, Katherine E.; Hunter, David J.; Blackman, Tim; Elliott, Eva; Greene, Alexandra; Harrington, Barbara E.; Marks, Linda; McKee, Lorna; Williams, Gareth H.; University of Aberdeen.Other Applied Health Sciences; University of Aberdeen.Business ManagementItem Encouraging emergence of cross-business strategic initiatives(2017-06) Canales, J.
